Brand Design
Go Back

Every year the AMS-IX invites the Internet Peering community to Amsterdam for two days of keynotes, networking and socializing – you could say they connect the connectors. For this event, we were asked to create an identity, that is able to stand on its own while still having links to the AMS-IX corporate brand.

Connecting the Connectors

Creating a brand for an event in the real world adds some extra challenges: the design needs to suit the venue while still having its own character, and also needs to be super flexible. Therefore, the core of the MORE-IP brand is a dynamic word mark that can be stretched into various different formats. Together with the eye-catching 'Loading Icon' that literally attracts the surrounding bubbles, you get a versatile brand that works well in print and the digital world.
One of my dreams was always to create a design, that is visible in public space. So when I heard that event brand concept I created for MORE-IP will also be used for a 10 metre high banner in the centre of Amsterdam, I was more than excited. We didn't only create the banner, but the full event dressing on location. The cherry on top of this branding pie, is that AMS-IX also asked me to take photos at the event every year.
